At the heart of my U.S. Senate campaign lies an unwavering commitment:
We must build a collective, shared prosperity that lifts everybody up, no matter who you are or where you come from. I present to you the pivotal policies that form the nucleus of both my campaign and my fundamental beliefs. Throughout my time as a public servant, I have and always will maintain an acute focus on driving policy outcomes that cater to the needs of Marylanders and all residents of this remarkable nation we share.
Time and again, Washington has let down the American people, clinging to antiquated perceptions of their experiences and allowing promising ideas and policies to be obscured beneath the overwhelming influence of special interests and entities detached from the pursuit of a realized shared prosperity for the American people. The moment has arrived for a bold, audacious, and actionable vision for the times ahead, a vision articulated below — a policy framework poised to guide the American people toward a brighter tomorrow.
Prosperity

From raising the federal minimum wage to $17 and establishing a Universal Guaranteed Income, to reinstating the Child Tax Credit and securing the FBI Headquarters in Prince George’s County.

Justice

It’s far past time to end the war on drugs, pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, end privatized prisons, and eliminate the death penalty.

To protect our democracy, we need to update it to address our 21st-century issues. We must end the filibuster, reform our Supreme Court, reign in executive abuse, and keep foreign actors out of our elections.

We have to leave gerrymandering, voter suppression, and dark money in the past and move forward with the future: automatic voter registration.
Opportunity

Congress must act to cap the cost of prescription drugs and rebuild the nursing pipeline while establishing Medicare for All.

To heal our collective trauma, we have to take bold steps. We must declare racism a public health crisis, embed racial equity principles into all of our work at the federal level, and establish a commission on reparations.

Bodily autonomy is a non-negotiable. We must restore Roe, empower our youth through comprehensive sex education, and make parenthood financially accessible through a national paid family leave policy.

As the son of an African immigrant, Will understands the aspirations and challenges of those who journey to the U.S. in pursuit of the American dream. He’ll defend DACA, advocate for a pathway to citizenship, and rebuild our refugee and asylum processes.
Dignity

We can rebuild the middle class by relieving the squeeze on working families, appropriately taxing corporations and the wealthy, and protecting workers from anti-union discrimination.

Our methods of movement need to be modern, safe, and climate-friendly. We must invest heavily in expanding EV charging stations, Metro, the Purple Line, and building Baltimore’s Red Line.

As a teenager, Will lost one of his best friends in a senseless act of gun violence. Decades later, little has been done to prevent these shootings. We must ban high-capacity assault rifles, institute universal background checks, and raise the firearm ownership age to 21.
